Where can I find my eSIM QR Code?
You can always find your QR code in the Jittr app, additionally a copy will be sent to your email.
How long does activation take?
Activation generally takes 1-2 minutes after eSIM installation
Does Jittr eSIM allow calls and text messages?
All of our eSIMs are data only, you can still use messaging apps like Whatsapp, iMessage, and Telegram
When does my eSIM activate?
Your eSIM duration activates when the first network connection is made in the region which the eSIM is assigned to. You can install the eSIM on your phone, and then turn it on once you reach your destination.
How do I delete an eSIM?
You can visit your device settings and delete your eSIM once you no longer need your eSIM.
What speed will I get?
Jittr plans vary per country and region, but generally we provide LTE/5G speeds in most regions
How do I know if my phone is unlocked?
IOS:
- Open the Settings app
- Tap on General, then tap About
- Scroll down to the Carrier Lock field
- If it says "No SIM Restrictions", your iPhone is unlocked
- If it says "SIM Locked", or the name of your carrier, your iPhone is locked
Android
- Open the Settings app
- Tap Network & Internet, Connections, or similar
- Tap SIMs, Mobile Network, or similar
- If you see more than one network to choose from, or options to manage your SIMs, this means your phone is likely unlocked.
Due to the vast variety of Android devices, the best way to check if your Android is unlocked is by contacting your carrier. If your device was purchased or leased from a carrier, it likely will be carrier locked.
Does my phone support eSIMs?
Most iPhones manufactured 2018 or later support eSIMs. You can verify by doing the following:
- Open the Settings app
- Tap Cellular
- Scroll down, if you see an option to Add eSIM, your device supports eSIMs
Most newer Android phones support eSIMs, to verify please consult the specifications for your device
Can I receive a refund?
Jittr does provide refunds for non-activated eSIMs. eSIMs cannot be refunded once activated (First network connection made in the region which the eSIM is assigned to). Contact support@jittr.app if you need help with a refund.
Can I use my eSIM on multiple devices?
Once the eSIM is activated on a device, it is then locked to the IMEI number of that device. eSIMs can be deleted and reinstalled on the same device, but cannot be installed on a different device.
Are eSIMs locked to just one country?
Jittr provides both single-country, and multi-country (Regional) plans. Regional plans allow data roaming in multiple countries.
